Andina Residence
Set against the rugged Montecito foothills landscape, our goal for the Andina’s home addition was to realize their desire for a modern architectural transformation of their existing home. The striking white sculptural forms are a meditation in form and function. The project design was also our opportunity to collaborate with our great friend and mentor, the late Paul Tuttle. Paul is an internationally acclaimed designer, who shared our studio and lives for many years. His uncompromising vision and talent are an inspiration. He is sorely missed, but his legacy lives on in his work, and in ours.
Working with NMA has always been a pleasure. They know how to listen carefully to client needs and are masters at adapting innovative strategies to challenging situations. They also have a sense of "timeless" architecture which is a special gift in today's world of cookie cutter architecture.
